While health experts extol the virtues of wild swimming, stand-up paddleboarding is now one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, and ocean rowing challenges attract an impressive fleet. Firepot has sustained sailors in the Golden Globe Race, the Fastnet, round Britain and Ireland, and in offshore races around the world. We supported Jordan Wylie’s gruelling efforts to circumnavigate the UK by SUP and the first expedition in history to paddle the Essequibo from source to sea.
