Bikepacking to Fort William

Over the Easter weekend, Alison Unwin and her partner set out on an impromptu cycle ride from their hometown of Dalwhinnie. Lured out by the brief warm weather in the Highlands, they set off on a 120km ride over the mountains to pay a visit to the UK's most remote restaurant and the highest railway station in the UK, Corrour's Station House.

Having set out on a whim, they found the outing unexpectedly challenging. While the route was beautiful, Alison admited it was a long way to go for two non-seasoned cyclists after a drink! 

"It's an incredible area", said Alison. "Loch Ossian is truly stunning. We'll go back..... by train perhaps".
